Since the Kickstarter is currently going, I just wanted to post this in order to raise some awareness to how great an investment this is.
Many big companies / portal will pay you for your HTML5 games on their website. If you sell non-exclusive licenses, you are completely free do do whatever you want with your game on top of this.
Some ways to monetise HTML5 games ...
- Sell Licences (exclusive / non-exclusive)
- Put ads in your games and on your game pages (if you have your own site)
- Distribute your game to portals for rev share
Some resources for you info ...http://www.truevalhalla.comhttp://www.photonstorm.com/game-development/business/our-list-of-html5-game-sponsorshttps://www.scirra.com/forum/the-big-list-of-game-publishers-ebooks_t114713
is a great place to get info about the market, once you post there, a hidden business forum shows up with links to publishers. But the market is already very saturated. It isn't definitely easy money anymore. I enjoyed it while it lasted.
About the truevalhalla guy, I don't recomment his book at all. Its wasted money.
