  Especially the forum thread about "state of mobile game development" was wonderful. I keep reading it over and over.
  
  There are two resources I try to maintain:
  
  1. Ultimate Guide to Gideros Studio: A few chapters left there - anyone can edit or add paragraphs and chapters, as you know.
  
  2. Forum FAQ: May not be the type of information you are looking for, but this page is editable as well, and if I see a good Q&A in the forum, I put it there.

  The only problem would be that the book would be out of date the second it was created, you might as well just jump into the forum and get your feet wet

  There are plenty of php scripts out there that will create a PDF from online content like this plugin for wordpress. Maybe something like that could be tweaked to provide a what @Magnusviri wants. I haven't read the whole conversation yet but the subject of a plugin to download a conversation as a pdf can be found here on the vanilla forums

  @techdojo, I've thought about it going out of date. I have a script that scrapes webpages and I might just think about setting it up for the forum.

  How would that differ from just logging in and seeing which posts / threads were new?
  Maybe if there was a Vanilla plugin that generated an RSS feed of all new posts on a daily basis that you could put into a feed reader?
