iOS 5.1 needs Lion

I just discovered (ouch) that iOS 5.1 needs Xcode 4.3.1, which needs Lion.

Some of my software, DAZ 3D stuff, won't run on Lion ~X(.

Plan is to save up for a hard drive, clone with SuperDuper, and then put Lion on, and reboot off this hard drive for Snow Leopard when necessary (ugh).

Do you think this will work? Or should I save myself a hard drive?

Actually, I could probably just fire up the dreaded Windows in BootCamp instead.

get a Mac Mini, it will be easier, and if you have an iMac 27" use AirDisplay ( http://reviewme.oz-apps.com/2011/03/we-just-love-air.html )to get the display of your mac Mini onto the 27" iMac.

Slightly more expensive than an external HDD but worth a lot more when you really need it. You could leave it on as a headless unit and work with it using ssh like if it were a server somewhere.

Good suggestion. I think I will have to wait on that though until I have covered the new iPad.

why not run the DAZ stuff in bootcamp or are there any issues with graphics card?
