I've been a hobbyist game developer for a long time, but never serious about it. For Father's Day this year I decided I wanted to publish a real game so I dove in headfirst with Gideros and had a simple puzzle game working in a few days. Last month I decided to take it to the next level and release something of professional quality. I'm in the home stretch now and just refining the tutorial and IAP features. The plan is to submit to Apple and Google in the next few days.
I've been able to find a lot of useful information here and am really really looking forward to shader support.
