How can one find samples/older posts

The search helps to locate quite a few keywords, but since the files are all a long GUID.zip it is difficult to spot the same on the HDD or in the forums. hat is a good way to look for an older file/post?

I am specifically looking for the sample @Atilim posted, is it there, removed or how to find that? someone might post a link which would help, but the question still remains, how to search for a sample/specific post?
