Promote your app : Your strategy ahead of Halloween, Christmas

I would be interested to read about your strategies for the upcoming events (Halloween, Christmas).

• Do you plan to have an app ready for those events?
• When do you plan to launch your app?
• What is your pre-launch / launch strategy?

Currently I'm working on an update for Zombie Minefield with universal support, new contents, and also preparing for Halloween (Facebook artwork, in-game artwork, and sale-off promotions for IAP items). Target to submit next week.

@phongtt have you tracked when is the optimal time to submit an app pre-event?
For ex I was thinking :
1. submitting a Christmas-themed app by mid-november, reach as much customer as possible, get their most expected feature, release a major update on dec ~10 with free content, and reach each person to leave a review so that I can build a certain number of reviews before Chrismtas
2. VS submit just before Christmas to benefit from the novelty's aspect

For now I am preparing for (1).

Did they update it? The icon is still the same. I'm always watching what those companies are doing, they sure know and track everything

The Halloween stuff is inside the game: splash screen, bumpkin mine, bumpkin bushes,...
