I just found this and thought some of the less experienced lua programmers on the board might appreciate it.

It's the personal blog of an active member of the Codea forums (he might even be lurking around here somewhere), in it he gives a very good discussion on Finite State Machines - a compulsory topic for anyone looking to learn about game coding, he's also just started a tutorial series about creating a MineSweeper clone in Codea.
