Connecting to Player on iOS device from Gideros Studio on Macos

Hey All,

Trying my first steps with Gideros, but I cant seem to be able to connect from Gideros Studio to the player on my iPhone. I have exported an empty app as "Player" (File -> Export -> Apple -> Player (no assets)), built it with xcode and then deployed it to my iphone. This all went fine and i have the text view with local ip info etc...

If I then enter this local ip adress in "Player Settings", I cant start the app. If I start a local player on macos (both using localhost or the ip), that works fine.

Firewall is disabled, the app has access to the local network, can ping my iphone with its ip address....

But the start button in studio stays greyed out.....

What am I doing wrong?

Kind Regards,
realDobi

I don't have a mac so cannot tell for sure, have you tried:
    - Player -> Localhost Toggle to on
    - in the list of running devices do you see your device, if so select it
    - are you connected over wifi?

hopefully you will get it working

PS: some mac users can answer for sure

Ok for reference, I still couldn't get it to work, while everything seemed to be allright for network setup, accessibility of port 15000 on the player's local ip address (*) from my macbook, worked from windows etc..... Finally I rebooted my macbook and only then it asked for access to local network when i started gideros studio. After that it worked fine. ;)

    (*) nc -vz local-ip 15000

super cool you got it working :)
I think Gideros Player is good to test mobile apps with, then from time to time test on mobile ;)
