@artleeapps if you are looking for a Mac solution then there is IconKit that creates most of the icons for iOS (6 and 7) from a single 1024x1024 image. This to my recollection is a free app on the Mac App Store.
The images are to what is required by xCode 5.1 and iOS7 however some need to be set manually by selecting the appropriate file.
Nice post @ArtLeeApps I will take this information into consideration >- For now, I'm using this too http://appicontemplate.com/ And the result was this
@OZApps ahhh thank you. its $5.49 but well worth it, as it creates all the version 6 + 7 and even android icons.
@HubertRonald i had a look at yours too, but it looked like a template for Paint Shop, which i don't have lots of experience with, so i went the 1 step option, thanks anyways
There was a script that used ImageMagik and generated the images for you without a GUI, though you can always put a GUI on top (if you want). I will look that up and let you know.
Install ImageMagik from http://www.imagemagick.org/script/binary-releases.php it will give you the commandline utility convert, then with your Hi-Res image, simply run the appropriate line of place then into a file and run it using
Cool @OZApps thank you for all your time looking into it. i ended up just paying for the first one you mentioned it does the trick ok for me. and it covers IOS6/7 and Android. in one export.
