Long Time Coder, First Time Gideroser

Hi, my name is Troy and I'm writing a game in Gideros. I'm new to both Lua and Gideros so my learning curve has been steep over the last 2 weeks but the forums and it' contributors have helped tremendously. As I get deeper I'm sure I'll be looking for more and more sage advice. Thanks in advance for being here.
So far Gideros and Lua are living up to my expectations for writing code fast that's cross platform. The Gideros iOS player is fast, simple and letting me iterate very quickly. I prefer Sublime Text 2 for coding and Zero Brane Studio for those times when I need to debug deeply. I've written a custom build (based on other people's scripts I found on the forums) that lets me compile and run almost as smoothly as in Gideros Studio.
Anyways, just wanted to say hello. You'll see some newb questions from me shortly.
