I have the same issue on my 480x800 app when I run it on a 240x320 device.
My app art is all scaled correctly but I couldn't find any information on scaling the splash image. My scale mode is letterbox. I tried adding some smaller image scale modes to see if it relied on these but that didn't help.
i guess so Gideros Splash Logo doesn't obeying any scale mode or logical dimension and it is the why it takes almost almost double screen size in iphone 3gs then iphone 4 (i know above sentence is too much confusing plz try both simulators and see diff)
and i also guess this issue will happens only on those device who has resolution very low like (240x320) and we can not fix this only on atilim can fix this

Logical Dimensions is: 320 x 240 (my smarthphone is 320 x 240 too)
