Gideros doesn't has "Custom Splash Screen" option. Or i miss something... You have only option to show gideros splash screen and no splash screen. Anything else is code.

Free version displays a 5 second splash screen which states that this application was made with Gideros. Paid versions does not have this limitation and can have custom splash screens.

Ok here is a new thing to play with for you guys.
Right now it's in beta, so there may be some bugs. And I'd need lots of your feedback on this, mostly on what information you would want to have displayed.

All the new options available under the account drop down (the one on the right with your name, when you log in )

So here are some things to do on new Gideros website with a little page takeovers :

Developer profiles
Here is an example: http://giderosmobile.com/dev/jenotscom

Firstly each member of GiderosMobile.com website can create his own developer profile. There could be lots of reasons to create a developer profile:

• Promote yourself as a Studio, showcase yourself
• Promote your self as a Freelancer or Company providing paid services as
  • providing paid consultations
  • could be hired for a job

App profile
Here is an example: http://giderosmobile.com/apps/mashballs

You can now also add your apps created with Gideros and

• have a separate page to promote
• add it to your developer profile
• add it in Gideros app showcase (http://giderosmobile.com/apps)
• allow Gideros feature/promote your app (will be available in future)

and last thing

Gideros tools
Here is an example: http://giderosmobile.com/tools/apprater

You can now also add your tools created for Gideros and

• have a separate page to promote
• add it to your developer profile
• add it in Gideros tool catalog (http://giderosmobile.com/tools)
• allow Gideros feature/promote your tool (will be available in future)

You can add any tools, external, like level designer, physics edtiros, IDE, as also internal like Gideros classes, plugins, etc.

So feel free to try it out and leave feedback, on what more fields you want to see there, what is not working, etc

@ar2rsawseen, love this new feature, lovely templates to create a personalized landing studio page. There are a couple of +'ves and a couple of -'ves.

1. The background image does not display very well as a major portion of it is obstructed by the menu and when you resize the page, it displays pretty odd.

2. I thought that this would be available to *paid* subscribers only, or else you might end up with multiple accounts and an overload.

3. Is there a way to add apps or tools that are relevant/made with Gideros? I mean I can add all 20+ apps that I have made with various frameworks, could be misused.

This is an amazing service offered by Gideros, some other frameworks charge approximately $5 or more for a landing page of this sort for those that do not have a webpage.

I agree with @OZApps about number 2, promoting paid subscribers (not me by the way) should be considered (if not for this then for other areas)

Also good point for number 3. You'll find yourself clogged up by every game developer out there.

Well most probably it will be available to paid users, but that is not decided yet, right now it is a beta and opened to anyone, because we need lots of feedback.

There will be an approval process with a verification (most probably manual verification for now) before app, or profile or tool gets publicly available. We are just considering the details and scenarios of verification, if you guys also have any ideas, I'm all ears

But yes it is stated and will be forced to apps and tools only for Gideros.

And about background image, well it is up to a designer to make it more appealing with all the menu up there.
I know it's not perfect right now, but for now it is better than a default image and I will think more on resizing script for bgs.

The hardest part of all it is to anticipate, that any combination of available information can be provided and make it look good if not in all cases, then at least in many of them

I honestly don't know, it is not yet decided and we need to know how it will be going, all I know that for now it will be available to all, but that may change in future (mostly due yo the fact if there will be too much spam, etc, and not because we want to limit this feature).
And in this case of course firstly there can be exceptions for trusted users, secondly created profiles will not be deleted and in worst case (emphasize on worst case) scenarios it will remain there until you upgrade :-\"

How to use Skype feature? It shows that i'm online, but it doesn't show nickname or something to contact with me.
And it isn't really comfortable to make customised pics for gideros site... We gives to google icons in 512x512. It will be great if gideros scale them to whatever site need. Same with background pic.

@unlying App icons should be scaled, if they are not, it's a bug and let me fix it
About background graphics, well I can't really upscale them, so they would need some customization either way, but well they are optional, the default one will appear if none provided.

It seems that right now you should make about 80px margin from top to display you logo correctly on BGs.

Skype was just the idea what to provide, but I'm open to all suggestions

I think that I've finished adding all objects, methods, events and properties from current existing docs
Next on the documentation list is to add/improve/correct all the description texts, add examples almost to each object/method/event/property and provide related objects/events/methods/properties and of course adding all the missing stuff
