vibrate() on iOS only when device is mute ?

I use the application:vibrate() method in my game.
It works well in the GiderosiosPlayer app. But , in the build version, deployed on the same device, it only works when the iphone is in mute mode (little button on iphone's side on mute position). When sound is on, the game does no vibrations...
an idea ?

thx !

Could it be related to the phone's settings? I know on my Android phone you can specify the phone only vibrates in silence mode, or you can set it to vibrate always etc.
