  Another one that I miss:

  • variables highlight: when I select a whole variable it would be nice to see all its iterations highlighted in the code.

  hi apollo14, I don't want to clutter the gideros github, they have already done a great job. It is just my two cents what could be implemented in next gideros builds.

  another one possibility?:

  • better lua file highlighting, I think that the file we are currently coding in does not stand out enough. The only hint we have is the red closing cross. Maybe another color for the tab could do it?

  the most useful keys I use:
  tab - move selected text block to the right
  shift+tab -move selected text block to the left

  Personally I think that CTRL + U should be changed to work like Zerobrane Studio which comments/uncomments the selected block of text.
  
  But that's just because I'm a filthy ZBS user

  @antix do you know how hard it is to implement? I believe we should be looking into Qt and c++. I would like to implement this feature myself but not sure at all where to begin.
  
  I think I would need to install all the stuff needed for gideros (there are a lot) and then open up Qt. Then find how to do it and finally where to put it in the code.
  Then debugging and releasing! That would be great.
  
  I will get there sooner than later hopefully.
  
  BTW: right now I am using some autohotkey shortcut to kind of implement that!

  @MoKaLux, yes, if you want to test your changes then you’ll have to build the studio at least. Luckily this is not that difficult and rather well explained on the wiki. You can limit your build to the QT part.

  @MoKaLux nah it's all good, I use ZeroBrane Studio and only use Gideros Studio to do the stuff that ZBS cannot do.
