64 bit support for android?

64bit is require by google play now. But the package built from the default android template did not support 64 bit yet.
The libs is already included, The works all we have to add 64 bit support is just add the following to the build.grade?

@Xman, you can use the 'require' plugin to enable android 64bit support for gideros exports. This does what you say, but automatically. BTW you can use:

abiFilters "armeabi-v7a", "arm64-v8a", "x86", "x86_64"

Don't bother with mips and armeabi...

Next Gideros will have 64bit enabled by default instead of opt-in.

Correct, the 'enable 64bit' option will turn into 'disable 64bit'!

according to the document https://developers.google.com/admob/android/quick-start#update_your_androidmanifestxml
the name com.google.android.gms.games.APP_ID in the ads.gplugin is a little confused, please check it.

Technically, it does not change anything, but it's better to turn on extra libraries rather than turn off

By default it is necessary that the size of 'apk' was minimal

it will attract more newcomers

@oleg, yes, but since 64bit is now mandatory, it is better to include them by default. I reckon this is what people would expect at first.

i agree that the 64bit should be on by default.
however, i find it confusing that in the settings there are enable options and also some disable options. it would be much faster to understand the tickboxes if all of them would enable the corresponding thing. of course, some of these could be ticked by default.

so i don't like 'disabe 64bit', instead i would retain 'enable 64bit' but it would be ticked by default. andthe other options could be changed in a similar way.

It wouldn't make much sense to me. See it that way: the 'require' plugin is optional, and when enabled it is used to change gideros defaults, either with features additions or removal. I think it is easier to have things ticked when 'you' changed them, so that you can easily revert back to defaults if something goes wrong, without having to remember if it used to be ticked or not.

i got your point, yet a 'reset to defaults' button would solve this issue too and it is anyways a bit strange that setting preferences is hidden inside a 'require' plugin.

@keszegh for professionals, there is no difference; they know how to set it up correctly.

And for beginners-the first time the gideros have been launched, one has to quickly make a prototype of the game and compile it to appreciate the advantages of the gideros.

Therefore, by default, the file must be compiled of a minimum size, and be compatible with the user's phone

I think: include the "requre" by default, when creating a new project-will be optimal for beginners

The require plugin was done ages ago in a bit of a brainstorming session to find the fastest way to add a couple of switches for things like TV apps, etc...

It still remains the best way imho because it appears google, apple, etc have a habit of moving the goalposts every few months - so something 'hackable' like this is best.

Do we have to make seperate versions for 32 and 64bit or we can use both in the same apk? I get a force close on a huawei mate pro v.8 64bit. Anyone had same isue with this phone?

if compiled in AAB, then it is not necessary to divide
