Ads PlugIn issue?

I have been playing my new game 'Peaky Climb' and watching adverts to revive for free. After some time the game just crashes back to the home screen on exiting a rewarded video advert. I tested again on my Nexus 4 this morning just sitting in the options menu and watching rewarded video adverts. After some time the application crashes back to the home screen. This is disappointing to say the least.

I used the Nexus 4 because it can be connected to ADB via USB so here is a LogCat dump of what seems to be the relevant info. Can anyone tell me if this is a Plugin problem or my own code?

Which ads provider? I use Unity, Applovin and Chartboost - I don't get this crash.

From the log, it is AdMob rewarded video.
The error is
java.lang.ClassCastException: com.google.ads.mediation.admob.AdMobAdapter cannot be cast to com.google.android.gms.ads.mediation.m

@vitalitymobile awesome, thanks for the link. Following other links it appears that this is a known issue with 15.0.0 that has not yet been resolved.. just my good luck I suppose

I guess I will update the readme that comes with the app and hopefully Google will fix this quickly.. and hopefully it can be updated in Gideros also

yes, - look in the plugins folder.

add the files to your gideros cache folder, it's in appdata/local/gideros/cache

Then once you have tested and updated the plugin script - just send a copy to @hgy29 for the next build.

Ahh - for admob it doesn't seem to download files into cache, maybe you just get google play services to 15.0.1 in the ads settings?

@SinisterSoft, possibly. The issue has resolved its self now, kind of..

I did the unthinkable and played my own game (and watched some rewarded videos) admob have now suspended my account for 30 days and threatened to delete my account if I breach their terms and conditions again.

Hmm.

So I am going to remove all of the admob code and in 30 days when my account is unlocked I will delete it myself. Eff admob!

I never use admob for that very reason - I don't want my entire google account to be deleted - that would be a disaster.

The best I've seen are unity, applovin and chartboost. You need to show chartboost first though as if you show applovin before chartboost then you no longer see chartboost. I have no idea why.

@SinisterSoft they won't delete your google account, they just delete your admob account as they are 2 separate entities (owned by the same evil mega corporation I guess).

Maybe I'll give one of those other providers a go but right now I'm totally salted with regards to ad networks

Sometimes they ban google account because of adwords/admob violation, I've seen such cases.
