  I see, but the issue is that gideros doesn’t really have a concept of project folder, effective files can be anywhere on your hard drive

  @hgy29 copy only the files and folders that are in the folder where the project file is .gproj
  
  it will be convenient if I do not need to copy the pictures for example I will put them in another folder

  Speaking of Save As, a "consolidate" option may be useful too, to copy every file in the gproj, to a new (single) folder (if possible keeping gprj folder structure)

  I make regular copies of my project folders, mostly because I'm too lazy to use an online system like GitHub to remember previous changes
  
  If there was something new to add I would add a couple of hotkeys to Gideros TexturePacker. CTRL + S to save the current project and CTRL + E to export the current project. Also an option so you don't have to confirm every darn time to overwrite the texture file heheh. These over say one year would save many hours of moving and clicking the mouse needlessly

  @antix I was doing the same thing but the comment section and the diff visialization on files is a must have if you need to revert/branch etc. try this one, it's really easy to set-up for local versioning https://git-scm.com/downloads
  I am very happy about it
  
  The consolidate feature would come in handy if you need to move a single project to another laptop/system

  Just because the "source control" flag was raised, I'm very happy with my setup using Bitbucket and SourceTree. Completely free, and stored in the cloud (there is a limit of 2GB I think, which should be enough for any project).
