While I understand what you were trying to do, and it is a nice thing to do IMO, it does look like spam for non russian (is it russian ?) speakers. I would have used both languages in both title and post, that way others would have understood better your intention.

welcome @oleg, it is better for the sake of others to keep the forum uni-language, although i understand that it would be convenient to converse among people with same foreign language on that language. maybe on the gideros slack room it is possible to make a channel for specific languages, if there is a wide need for it (like at least 3 people speaking that language while not understanding english that much).

First: I was the one who edited your post, and calling me some bad words will be the ugliest thing to do in your case. But i am not the one who need to teach you manners, it is coming from person's character and family if you don't have it it means you don't have it, good luck in your life.
Second : In an English forum your first post is Ukranian language with links to your facebook account and your gmail. (even forum doesn't giving you right to post links you are trying with brackets). Here no one knows you and you are posting first time. Before calling people idiot present yourself to community and you will see that how welcoming community are we actually.
Third: There is nothing wrong to invite people to speak in your language i am not racist or nothing. I personally lived and worked in Kiev 7 years, and those years taught me that Ukrainian people are lovely and welcoming. I personally have no grudge towards to any nation nor any kind of ethnic group. Just your way is not the correct way.

As a conclusion I will personally no more reply to any of your answers to your comments on this issue. For all other problems or any other questions you are welcome to ask me anything.
If anyone will act again the same on this forum i will again do the same thing and edit or delete their post believe me.
Hope my words will be understandable enough

i have to agree that modifying a post in a sarcastic way was not the optimal reaction, on the other hand it was indeed an inappropriate first post.

@oleg, i guess it would be great to close this argument around here and go back to talking about gideros.

I'd say because english is easier to learn than chinese, and because most of us are here because they already understand english - which somehow has been chosen as the "official language"

English is not my language too (and i believe it's evident

) but it is good enough for me for different reasons, one of which is that many words we need to use (ie. socket, shader, array...) are already English. Imagine if this forum was written in many different languages what a mess would it be.
We are a growing community, but we are not so BIG yet to need local enclaves speaking their own languages. Nobody would stop you if you want to put together a Ukrainian gideros forum, but, if you speak(write) in the same language of others you increase the chance to have some help, and since everything remains posted, tomorrow the same answer may be of help to others.

However, please, don't feed the troll and enjoy one of the most friendly communities on the net.

Oleg I understand your point but:
1 in this particular scenario the official forum is an english forum, not by its title but as the primary content language and the people who browse it.
2 that's fine, but most of us don't understand Ukrainian language (as said by others before, all of this would not have happened if you placed two lines in English to explain it in the first place).
Since it seems that you still didn't get why this was a "problem" (it was not for the Englishmen, it was (only) for the Ukrainians) I'll try to explain it with a metaphor:
how would you feel if in a place where everybody speak a single language to understand each other, some people ( Italians, or Japanese, or Chinese or any other) speak only their language when you're present? Even if they are talking about weather they are excluding you (and the others) from the conversation.
3 I never used sai2 (seems cool, thank you for pointing that out!) ~~but you don't need to learn japanese: like everything that plans to grow a worldwide community it has an official english forum~~ [edit. whoops.. removed link to russian pirate forum, you are right]

That said, there is no reason to be polemic: if you followed this forum a little you know that our goal is only to share gideros knowledge in a friendly environment

2. all who need me to understand Ukrainian, you do not need me, I do not ask you anything.
