  @Xman, agreed, based on our discussion, but much less than previous 2016.12. I was so sure the all those features were in, since they are on github since a while now, unfortunately the release was built more than two weeks ago

  Hopefully when @John26 gets back on Friday he can do a build and immediate release?

  btw upon releases a post on the blog would be good (even if it's the same as the announcement post on the forum), people like to read announcements on blogs.
