General questions
Hi guys,
I'm looking to create procedural 2D terrain from a seed value, much like the random terrain generator in Civilization. Has anyone had experience with this (using Perlin noise or another algorithm)?

@totebo
, I looked at noise some time ago and found there are quite a few sources on the net.
https://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3304
has an interesting discussion and links to some actual code.
I have found that Love2d forums have loads of useful code and stuff since it is LUA based as well.
