Our next step will be creating an easy to use build system so that anybody can create an installation package from codes easily.
Our best,
I guess cmake is the best tool to build C++ gideros source code for Windows, Mac and Linux. Now gideros can easily be extended by subclassing Sprite C++ classes.
@MikeHart That might be Gideros 1.x - which makes sense as @atilim is yet to submit Gideros 2.0 to github (I think)...

We had to revert to the latest working Gideros version, before all the @atilim 's reorganizations and additions in the code, to speed up the release of the source. That's why the last commit is 3 months ago
And of course we imported all the commit history from internal repositories, because commit messages are the best way to learn about the code and project structure, this is why repository is showed as years old, in fact it was only created yesterday
@ar2rsawseen Hopefully those more recent changes will make it into the code - or will they be in a 2.0 branch?

@SinisterSoft yes they will make, they only need to be finished before About 2.0 unfortunately I don't even know in which state the current version in internal repo is. We could probably set up development repo with the latest changes, but would that give any value, if code can not be compiled?
Same goes with 2.0, which was not updated for quite sometime as all concentration was on current version.

The repository is over a year old and the last changes over 3 months ago.
My answer to the original poster is. It is dead, zero heartline. Point!
