Kicky Ball - design lessons learned from Flappy Bird

Hello folks

Recently when implementing new Facebook SDK I also created a small game prototype just to test out the functionality and a way how FB can be implemented.

This prototype then was wrapped in better graphics and released.

While working on the game, the idea was to provide something simple, yet challenging, as Flappy Bird does, but without making a Flappy Bird clone.

So this game is something completely different :)

Basically it has:
1) Simple mechanic that suits a touch screen perfectly
2) Yet game is difficult to master and score high
3) Easy comparable score, each kick is a score
4) Sense of progressions without the game actually getting harder
5) And a little addition from us (comparing to Flappy Bird), better graphics

So if you are fed up with Flappy Bird, but still want something challenging, you should check it out (and also to see FB plugin in action :) )
