All I can say is wow, this is cool but having done some investigating, it would appear that you can't side-load an app, you can only install apps from a market.
Unfortunately what this means to us is that we cannot run the Gideros Player app. Not unless there is one on an official app store, or until somebody figures out how to inject the Gideros Player app into the Data.sparsefs file system.
It does play my HappyCatz app quite happily though
To install Android APK in BlueStacks on Mac OSX use this command in terminal: ~/Library/BlueStacks\ App\ Player/Runtime/uHD-Adb install path-to-your-apk
Got it working without any dramas and it is much faster on the Mac than it was on Windows (when it was released, haven't tried the latest build) Can now test the new releases that members of the community release, however would like if we can sideload apps on this.
Found it. Here you can publish your apps that will run in a website. Haven't tried it yet, but maybe someone would be interested in it https://www.appsurfer.com/
There was a similar service that also offered to play iOS apps via the web player, but both are slow and un-responsive (atleast not with my broadband connection)
@OZApps what do you mean when you say sideload apps, I thought this just meant loading the apk files directly into it without going through an appstore?
You can load apk files into bluestacks using this command in terminal: ~/Library/BlueStacks\ App\ Player/Runtime/uHD-Adb install path-to-your-apk
There is a windows equivalent command which I believe is in the program files for the Bluestacks player
There are also many other functions in the uHD-Adb if anyone wants to have a look at what else you can do.
@frozenend3, it is one word 'uHD-Adb' not a command and a parameter.
You can find it in the Runtime Directory (to which you will find a link in the '~\Library\BlueStacks\App Player' directory which basically leads you to '\Applications\BlueStacks.app\Contents\Runtime').
You will have to use the terminal, so open a terminal and type the following commands

Gideros player will be the fastest I'd imagine. I tried bluestacks and it doesn't seem that fast to me, but that might just be something down to my machine configuration, etc

The best thing to do is use for Windows desktop export is UWP, a side benefit is that you can also publish your game to XBox One.
