Hello, just wondering if it would be possible for you to put the Gideros player in the App store (for free, of course).
I've access to an iPad which would be very nice to just test how gems behave on a tablet and of course also on iOs, but I'm not feeling ready to get a developers license just yet. (Also for people who may not have access to the development equipment yet).

Unfortunately not possible due to the ios sdk agreement restriction:
"An Application may not itself install or launch other executable code by any means, including without limitation through the use of a plug-in architecture, calling other frameworks, other APIs or otherwise."
"3.3.2 An Application may not download or install executable code. Interpreted code may only be used in an Application if all scripts, code and interpreters are packaged in the Application and not downloaded. The only exception to the foregoing is scripts and code downloaded and run by Apple's built-in WebKit framework, provided that such scripts and code do not change the primary purpose of the Application by providing features or functionality that are inconsistent with the intended and advertised purpose of the Application as submitted to the App Store."
(But Gideros Player doesn't download the code, we upload to it Maybe we convince Apple)
Cause it would be really super mega ultra extra helpful.
Maybe I could ask anyone of Mac users to do that magic thingy with my udid and send me Gideros player app I could install?
Oh, as long as it's alright by Gideros @atilim to do this????
Atilim managed to get another way of distributing Gideros player.
Potentially...
Someone enterprising individual *could* put their instance of the player on Testflight and allow up to 99 other users to be "beta testers"...

You can get the UDID several ways, an app:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ad-hoc-helper/id285691333?mt=8
In iTunes - click on the iOS device in the list on the left, on the "Summary" tab click on "Serial Number" and it will change to "Identifier (UDID)".
In Xcode - "Window" menu, "Organizer", click on device on list on left, "Identifier" field.
I'd need to create an ad hoc cert and I need to sign the app and then you can put it on your iOS device.
