  Unfortunately kudos plugin does not support this feature. And as you see, you give kudos to id 1162 which is your post id and not 289 as your user id.
  
  But I agree, that would be an awesome feature, for example to have total kudos displayed in profile or create a top of kudos authors.
  
  But someone would need to modify the forum code himself and write an sql query to select all authors posts and all post kudos count and sum it up. :-\"

  Ironically enough we had to disable the "kudos" feature on the DragonFire SDK forum as a few members were actually getting upset and leaving - after getting their "knickers in a twist" (or "panties in a wad" for our **== cousins ) over the kudos feature, although that was assigned directly to their accounts, not their posts.
  
  Personally I think it works better on a post by post basis.
