I think the function alone becomes faster because it is inlined by luau, hence saving the costly function call.

I have the same bad results for the new luau math.map function .

Those results killed my enthusiasm! That wasn't the kind of results I expected from the luau team 😢. I feel I shouldn't add those to the wiki, I only want the best for Gideros and us coders 🤔.

PS: I just saw hgy29 post! I may reconsider my position then 😊
