Hi all, I've finally published my first Android game, Falling Animals. It's available now on the Google Play Store and I hope some of you have a look and leave some feedback maybe.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antix.falling_animalsI'd like to take a moment and thank the fantastic community here for all their wonderful assistance. You are a great bunch of people and I hope that I can make many more games with your kind help

The only thing I would say would be to add device back button functionality to exit the game. I will play with it again later and give you some more feedback.
Very nice!!

Hmm, I never thought about an exit button. I suppose I could pop one down in the bottom right corner of the main screen.
Design request: Let the player store hearts! If I pick one up when I have three hearts already, I feel cheated of a life. Alternatively don't spawn hearts when you already have three.
Not sure about the exit button, it's like telling the player you want them to leave. Very few games have them, probably for that reason. I think what @simwhi means is exiting the game if you tap the Android back button when on the main menu, which is standard procedure. Also move back to main if on another screen.
@totebo thanks. I have no idea why the facebook link shows "Not Found". I will look into that. It still works however and takes you through to the Play Store listing.
Hey, when you collect a heart and you have 3 hearts already, you get 3 bonus points. I'll think about that also
The earn button doesn't work because Gideros doesn't support rewarded video adverts with AdMob yet. It also looks uneven when it's not there
Oh, there's also a special bonus if you collect a heart and haven't taken damage for some time
With regards to the back button, is there an event for that in Gideros?
Don't exit the app immediately. Present an exit dialogue. If the user presses back again then remove the dialogue. Kind of like a toggle.
I think this is one of the requirement before Google will feature your app.

Good job for persevering through all the issues you had!
Left a little review
PS. Still can't beat your score lol

Love the music too !
Personally, I wouldn't give 3 lives... just 1, ala flappy bird.
Chuz0, I had to listen to a lot of music to find those two tunes. Maybe there could be a "man mode" or "hardcore mode" where you only get one life, thanks for the suggestion
EDIT : HIghscore of 402 ???? i just managed to score 10

True, the Mac requirement is an issue. Before I switched to Mac completely I bought a second hand Cube for very little money to make the builds. That was all it took, though, for me when I made No Brakes. I went from 100 installs to 100,000 overnight.

For sure you could try to reach HTML sponsors for it.

@MikeHart thanks. I hadn't thought of HTML5, how does that affect things like in app purchases I wonder.
@NatWobble, awesome, cheers

You can try contacting portals like addictinggames, miniclip, spilgames and armorgames.
These are probably the biggest ones - but like @MikeHart said, you should sign up at html5gamedevs, as there is a lot of info there
