Which is actually the best Leaderboard & achievement framework to be use with Gideros?

Hi,

@ar2rsawseen Trying to put a leaderboard & achievement framework in my game I noticed that the Heyzap plugin is outdated because the current Heyzap SDK don't have now the Heyzap.bundle and Heyzap.framework folders (i.e. for iOS).

On the other hand it seems Heyzap have hidden the leaderboard and achievement functions in the web, focusing only in ads...

If it's not possible to use the Heyzap plugin because of this, which framework actually we could use to add a good leaderboard & achievement functionality to the game?

I use Google Play Game Services for Android and GameCenter for iOS

Yep similar here, using Google Play Services for Google Play market, GameCenter for IOS, GameCircle for Amazon and all other Android markets own backend server

Nothing unifying for now, because each platform can provide more visibility and other benefits when you are using their own system.

And Google Play Services would require Google Play Services apk installed on device
GameCircle would require Amazon account
GameCenter is IOS only

Heyzap was the only independent and now it is gone.

If I would have to chose with the one to use on all platforms, that would probably be GameCircle

Ok, ... but therefore with GameCircle you force to the user to create an Amazon account, a good sales force...

Maybe it would be better to manage Google Play Services for Android devices (normally people belonging an Android device have their apk installed) and GameCenter for iOS devices.

In this case @amaximov , @ar2rsawseen do you have a template or code implementing these platforms?

For Google Play Services you can either use Google Play plugin or Gaming Interface (http://giderosmobile.com/labs/gaming).
With the latter the example is simple:

OpenKit looks ok. It would be good if this was added to the game lib - but for our own servers somehow - using the opensource soln.

If Facebook adds proper multi-leaderboard support (like the others) then that would be the best solution.

@sinistersoft i agree, have only a single leaderboard is a major pain when using facebook leaderboard

I have used Facebook + Parse in development of my Animal Wild Rescue game and I got a multi-leaderboard for each level.

But the problem was I have to write Javacript code and a lot of callback to manage the whole process.

The benefits are that you can share level score with your Facebook friends on iOS and Android and store additional info as level's stars.
