No lightnings on my device

Hi, folks...

I have studies several Gideros example projects, nearly all of them. No problem. I also experimented several Gideros supplied tools (really a lot of them.) Running on local player, no problem. All is good. Now, I tried Lightning project running on my devices via GilerosAndroid Player. Behold, no lightnings nearly at all. What has happened? Has anyone here tried? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

-Geo

PS. Tried Galaxy Tab devices as well as Google TV. All the same results.

    Hello @GeoCoder
Do you mean Gideros Studio can't connect to Android player,
or it connects but nothing is displayed,
or only particular project "Lightnings" can't be displayed?

The Android player on my devices run just fine. No problem.
The real issue is that the display on the player shows only a much fewer lightnings when you move your mouse as compared to the local player on desktop.
I did create an APK and run it. The same symptom.
Have you tried the app on your real device?
BTW, I did some mods by adding an image of a shiny ball and a second thin lightning to the app. It runs great and interesting on the local player. Sadly, it looks terrible on the real devices. If interested, I'll be happy to zip up the modified project and attach it to the next post.

I suppose it might be a consuming effect but that it does not run or looks differently is interesting. What device are you using?
  • Strange. I wasn't notified about your last comment earlier in the morning. Sorry.

I used several devices I tried on. All the same results. They are Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Minix (Google TV.)
