Hmm weird i just tried with Safari now also from Macintosh computer. It seems working with Safari Version 7.0.1 (9537.73.11).

Or maybe is there any add-on installed somehow in Safari that is blocking it?

same here, showing up in all Mac and PC browsers.
Really hard to answer what is the problem

since a few days the search bar in gideros forum is thicker with a "powered by google" sign. the problem is that this covers partially the 'all discussions' etc. tabs. i'm using firefox.
see attached image.

The problem of the search bar container height is even worse on mobile. Not that it's a big problem, but a bit annoying

Well in Firefox on Windows with AdBlock, NoScript, FlashBlock, Disconnect, Ghostery, you don't even see the damn search bar

It's just too strange. Even when I allow the entire page to run (through noscript) I still don't see the search bar
