the lua is the bottleneck and you can't really get anything much from liquid fun particles
we are currently discussing on api changes or about getting simple internal particle updater, but both approaches have either lots of work or limitations
so most probably liquid fun will skip next release
at least until LuaJIT in Gideros 2.0
