I just released my first game made with gideros. It's called Roll mania and it's available now on iOS and android. The full version is $0.99 and there is also a lite version.
If you've got the time please give it a try and rate/review it. Thanks!
Kate's Catalogue of Travelling Theatre Centres : Meet Kate. Grey is her favourite colour. Maths is her favourite subject. Decency is her favourite type of behaviour. She definitely does not like jewellery or modelling, but loves aeroplanes and other machines made of aluminium.
@larf wow.. very, very tasteful at all aspects of the game:music, sounds, graphics, animations, performance! if I may, consider small improvements: 1. add stop/pause a music channel after pause 2. add small graphic tutorial at the beginning (I know there is a video on youtube, and info boards, but on small devices like mine 2,8" it's difficult to read) 3. add in AndroidManifest.xml the line:
android:installLocation="preferExternal">
in section
<manifest
to make low-mid end smartphone's users more happy 4. consider to add some ads... like for example admob and chartboost etc. 5. add hardware BACK button mapping for exploring the game and exiting.
Looks very nice, well done! I like the way you've combined Box2D with zooming and scrolling -- which isn't so obvious how to do it. The whole thing looks very professional.
I was thinking I'd post a little tutorial on how to manage parallax zooming and scrolling which is probably the biggest trick I've learned while making this game.
