Hi
What is your view on the best platform for testing your app cross capability?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not looking into a hi end device,
reason:
1.If the app runs smooth on a mid range device ,then it will probably be good
for higher ones as well.At least that is my idea.
2.I plan to spend as little as I can on a device.
(I am looking into buying Gideros Sdk in the next couple of weeks,so that is another cost.
Which worth it.
The reason,
1.I want to support them
2.I heard great stuff about the speed on androids.
I love to see this with my own eyes.
--Even though I still have a pro licence for Corona sdk.

--ios:
I need an iPad since that is one of my major platforms.
I am going for an Ipad 16GB 1st generation.
--androids:
For android I am very confused.
A.What is a mid range device for android to test your application?
1.I were looking into Samsung Galaxy s2 or s1.
(I rather get a big phone like Samsung,so it would give me screen variety, but
still not too small.)
2. HTC ?
Let me know what you think:)
Thanks

- CPU: different architectures of cpu for testing performance of app (always armv6 and newer cpu)
- Screen density: smartphone and tablet for testing graphics on various density
So it may be at least 2 devices for example: smartphone with armv6 cpu( t-mobile move) and tablet with armv7 (samsung note 10.1) or next generation of cpu

I am planning to get a
"Samsung Galaxy S i9000 LCD "since it falls in more a mid range device .
Q: Is your game very dependent on CPU? If not, I'd go for a mid-high range device.

Let me know how that goes.
there will be few sprite animations .
And mostly background and images.
But nothing major.
"On May 6, 2009, the company announced it was to be acquired by Micro Focus for $75 million.[12] The transaction was approved by Borland shareholders on July 22, 2009, with Micro Focus acquiring the company for $1.50/share.[13] Following Micro Focus shareholder approval and the required corporate filings, the transaction was completed in late July 2009.[14] The San Jose Mercury News reported that, "Philippe Kahn, who founded the company in 1983 and headed it until 1994, called the deal a 'great fit and synergism for both companies and excellent outcome for employees, customers and shareholders.'"[15]"
From the info it's really *that* wonderful Borland of my childhood (high school days, to be exact)
