omg really sorry for the loss @gregbug but as you said nothing happend to you and your family.

Better loose your wealth (in this case some amount only:D) then loosing your life. (There is a saying like this in Turkish language but when i translate it to English loosing life is coming a little bit harsh , let's define it as health or better not to hurt yourself

Maybe you should get a watchdog.

We had a spate of young kids (12-15) breaking into houses and driving cars for a joyride (under 16 are not prosecuted, so...). As chang suggested, the only thing is to get a dog or a guard dog (but if it bites them little critters, the dog has to be put down ( )

Anyways, we have two and I do not want to test them against the critters. That's the puppy and when it's all grown up, scales the fence to check the people that take a walk.
