Sound doesn't play / mute after resume from phone call.

Hey guys,

I've just came across an audio bug, I was testing my iOS app on device (without background music) but only with button click sound. I accept a phone call when I was running the app. After return from the phone call, the sound doesn't play (or the volume is mute) when I click on the button. Did anyone come across this?

EDIT: I'm using build 8.4 and iOS6 on an iPhone 4.

I fixed a similar bug but it was about background music. btw, what is the format of your sound file? .wav or .mp3?

It was a .wav file.

Currently Gideros only handles audio interruptions for background music but not for OpenAL.

Are there any workaround for this? Maybe I should use .mp3 instead of .wav file for now? Thank you.

@atilim is this the same, as starting music and then launching app and music gets interrupted? I remember there was a post about it, but could not find where.

@Chang Currently there isn't any workaround. I'll release a new version that addresses this bug.

Oh yes. Because I was _just_ about to release the new version but I realized a point and now creating the installation packages again. And then a whole another version will come for this bug

Actually I just finished exporting xcode project, adding plugins, icons, splashscreens etc and was about to submit an app, but decided to look at the forum, and what I saw that there is a new version of Gideros with some interesting addons and bug fixes in release notes.
I went to download it, and there were no new downloads.

Went back to forum, thinking I would remind you to also include new version for a download (came up with couple of snarky comments about you forgetting to do it), but surprise, surprise, forum post is also not there anymore.

Then I saw this thread and understood what's going on
