Gideros IRC chat channel?

Is anyone aware of a Gideros chat channel? I could not find a reference to one on their website.

In case there isn't, I've created and joined the channel #gideros in freenode (irc.freenode.net). I'll try to keep it open and auto join it from now on - until / unless I find out about an official Gideros IRC channel somewhere. If there isn't then well, have to start somewhere right?

We do not have any I know of. Feel free to keep and operate this channel, and if you want, we can point a link from our web page. If everything goes well, then we can mention it in our blog and newsletter.

Oh Colloquy is free too. Forgot about that. So I'd recommend that too.

I think many of instant messenger clients for linux have IRC module. I am using pidgin. See also:

The very best client is Adium imho! (I've tried the most of them out there. This is by far the easiest one.)

I join from time to time. I used to use Xchat, but it's not open source anymore and evaluation of my copy has ended, therefore I had to switch to another client (Nettalk).

I'm always logged in - best thing to do is keep logged in, its a snowball kind of effect. Also as Gideros grows with users, there will be more people that like to hang out on the IRC channel to discuss development issues and whatnot.
