There is a minimalistic app called Solar and it has a rather interesting UI and here's an attempt using Gideros to emulate the same. The video shows that sliding a finger changes the mood being brightest at 12:00 and dark at 00:00 a clock spins the hour and minute hand to display the time, a digital text version is in the top left corner to allow for readability and debugging.

It looks much better on the iPhone device as the hands look sleeker on a retina device, however if we had anti-aliasing that would make this look much better (I guess OpenGL 2.0 would provide us that, right?)

It is about using more intuitive forms of Input than simply using Buttons. While Gideros might await a couple of things there are plenty in Gideros to make amazing Apps, so this is more like a proof of concept of what it can do in terms of amazing UI and apps.
