Maximum texture size?

Would loading a large texture/bitmap (1516x1516) break older devices or does Gideros handle that internally?

I use the automatic image scaling when possible, but have a situation where that's not the best solution (downloaded content).

    Hi,

    Older devices only support 1024x1024. On the other hand, iPad 1 and 2 support 2048x2048 and iPad 3 supports 4096x4096. If you're using automatic image scaling, most probably you have a half sized (758x758) texture and this texture will be used on older devices automatically. Therefore, there won't be any problem.
