  Hi Mells, have you seen TileMap in the API? http://appcodingeasy.com/gideros_docs/reference_manual_modified.html#TileMap or http://www.giderosmobile.com/documentation/reference_manual.html#TileMap This is what you can use to load tilemaps (tmx) and it is managed natively in contrast to Lime which is a lua implementation for C*SDK
