Windows or Linux?

Do you use Windows or Linux for your Gideros and in general Lua development? If Linux then which distro?

I need to reinstall OS on my laptop and I'm thinking maybe I need to switch from Windows to Linux. Is there any advantages if you use Gideros/Lua on Windows or on Linux?

Update:
I just found out that Gideros basically runs on Windows and Mac only. Unfortunately it seems I cannot delete this post. So I'm adding this update. If any admin will check this post, please delete it. I found my answer.

I think it works on linux through Wine, but I never tried :) (I am on win7)
p.s. you could try it on a live release ;)

@simonl There are instructions to creating the whole of Gideros Studio for the Raspberry Pi. If you follow these instructions on other versions of Linux (the Pi uses Raspbian) then I think it should also work.
